The first step into the world of DanceSport. Young dancers learn the basics of Ballroom and Latin through movement, music, coordination, and age-appropriate dance technique. Students begin developing posture, rhythm, confidence, and performance skills while preparing for their first competitions.
No previous dance experience is required.
Makeup classes are possible on Fridays at 5.45pm or on Saturdays during Competition Simulation Rounds on Saturdays.
A competitive DanceSport program for young dancers building strong fundamentals in Ballroom and Latin. Students develop technique, musicality, coordination, partnering skills, and confident presentation while learning Newcomer and Bronze-level material.
Designed for dancers who are beginning their competitive journey or developing toward a solid Bronze level.
Makeup/extra classes are possible on Tuesdays at 6.30pm and Saturdays at 10am.
For experienced young competitors ready for a higher level of training. This class focuses on advanced syllabus technique, movement quality, musicality, partnering, performance, and competition preparation across Ballroom and Latin dances.
Designed for established Bronze through Gold dancers who are ready to be challenged and continue developing as competitive DanceSport athletes.
Make up/extra classes are on Mondays 7-7.45pm and 7.45-8.30pm, Thursdays 6-7pm and 7-8pm.
Our most advanced dancers gather twice a week: Mondays at 7:00pm for a 90-minute session and Thursdays at 6:00pm for a two-hour session open-level competitors class, tailored for dancers from junior to adult. This dynamic class encompasses both Latin and Ballroom styles, offering advanced techniques, choreography, and performance skills to help you excel as a competitive dancer. Additionally, two-hour competition simulation rounds on Saturdays and unlimited practice are included at no extra charge.

Students enrolled in group and/or private classes at NIKA can practice for free whenever the studio space is available. For dancers not affiliated with the studio, the cost is per person.
